James question is about owning Clubs:

Dear Audrey,
I have owned a club for a couple months now but I have less then 40 people in the club. None of the members are active, when ever I try to get them interested nobody ever responses. Also I feel like my club is about something "grown-up", when I try to talk to people about issues they don't know what I am talking about, probably because most of them are to young to understand. Anyway my question is. How can I get people to join my club. How can I get people to be actually interested in my club? And How can I get the target audience that I want?

Clubs are very hard to mange, especially good clubs. And it defiantly takes time for good clubs to form. Its defiantly no fun when you're members aren't participating, but it takes two to tango.. If you want a successful club, YOU, as the owner have to be responsible for making your club a club people WANT to join and WANT to participate in. That means starting debates, making contest, making games and being provokative! I would say if you want people to join the club, you first have to make the people in the club participate first. That in itself will spread the club, by word of mouth. Broadcasting is another way to get people involved.. although that cost money. So if your cheap.. like so many of us.. just go around stardoll and post on peoples guestbooks. It helps if you find people that are new, new people don't know what there doing and will probably join ANY club to get to know people. And if you are doing that, I suggest befriending them if they join. Then you can get them interested in what your club is about, and then they can spread the club as well. Make a time investment on those people because they will be the ones that help your club grow.
 That also helps find your target audience, because you can be making target audiences yourself. Also if you do find anyone that you consider your "target audience" then use them. If they are interested, befriend them maybe make them manger.. If people are mangers they feel they have a duty to the club to help.
To get people interested in your club, maybe make a contest! I feel thats always the easiest way to get people to join. The better the prize the more people will flock to it. So maybe start thinking of what would make a good contest and prize.

New Floor on Wild Candy

More Wild Candy was released today, and the theme is holiday! Personally I love wild candy because its extremely cheap. Its good for non superstars because its all in starcoins! But I think this new christmas, holiday theme is very cheesy, and cheap looking. What happen to the very simple christmas style that was just classy? and also completely wearable for non christmas things. Now all we got are snow, snowflakes and red. Just very tacky...
On that note Wild Candy pervious floors were worse! So at least there making a store designed for non-superstars and at least putting up so pretty dresses for the holiday!

New Christmas style Glam'rus jewelry

The new jewelry from Glam'rus, has a holiday feel for it. Its been a while since stardoll introduced a new line from Glam'rus, and the timing is perfect. Christmas is the perfect time of year to brake out the gowns, you haven't had a reason to wear! Most of the styles are diamonds, which you can't go wrong with. Maybe they're a bit to flashy for my taste, and a little over priced too.

The Wig Trend

Just thought I might create a post about the ever growing Wig Industry on Stardoll! Anyway I suppose we have all seen the new Jewelry design room, its very similar to the clothing one except its with Jewelry you can put on your medoll. Anyway! So the Newest trend is creating Wigs! Honestly i think thing new idea is here tostay! I'v been getting a little tired of the same old same old hairs they've had for a long time, the wigs allow us to create our own designs and our own wigs... however difficult that may be.The wigs I think are better then the fashion designs and even the interior designs because they are more excusable to all stardoll users. The Interior didn't r

eally have much use unless you were like crazy creative with your suite and the fashion designs really had only commercial use.. like telling the world that you loved twilight and lady gaga. But the new Wigs in the Jewelry designs are something everyone can relate to, the need of a better medoll and new hairs.

Anyway here are some of the familiar faces of Wig designers and my personal favorite wig desingers.

She is probably the first person that comes to mind when i think of wigs. I didn't excatly follow the wig crazy when it first started. But i can tell you with almost certainty.. it started with this girl right here. If you don't know her or have never seen her, then you have probably seen her designs without even realizing it. Go ahead check out her page, i promise you have seen her wigs.. unless you've been living in like a cave. (Personal fav. i own 3 wigs of hers myself!)

WeNdYcltAz

Another huge face in the Jewelry design. She more commonly does punk-is/Emo looks, hats, and bows. I personally don't own anything of hers but, they are still pretty cool wigs!

Expelliarums.HP

Another famous wig designer. He looks are also very common around stardoll, you have probably seen her things. They are very simple girly things that are commonly blond. I like her wigs, and I personally own just one.

It Girls and Epiphany

Another New store has hit the StarPlaza! Its called "It Girls", the odd part is that only a couple pieces (So far) are new. Everything else in the store, including the next two pages are whats left of the old Stardoll store.

YEP thats right the Stardoll store is gone now it is called "It Girl".. Wonder who came up with that name :|... Anyway not the point. The new things that are out are quiet cute and I hear more is to come!

In other news Stardolls Epiphany, the jewelry store has just opened with 4 new pages. I am not partially interested in it... just thought i might tell you all!

The Wild Wild West Arrives to Stardoll!

A new theme decor has arrived! As you noticed by the title it is the Wild West! Everything to cowboy hats to cozy fire places!

My personally opinion is that it is wonderful! There is something just extremely cozy about it. its also pretty great because it goes nicely with the Alpine Chalet but its better then Winter Peaks decor. Anyways its great! I bought a few items myself.. but not enough to have my suite like a ranch!

What do you guys think?

More and more Decades!

3 New Floors have been added to Decades and More is on its way! Honestly I am thrilled! Decades is my favorite clothing store and its about time they added some new things. Although most of the things are very risky, meaning there not really like the other very conservative Decades Items, they're more colorful and short and fun! Absolutely love it!
